Reintroducing a resort, not just reopening a hotel.
Honey Creek Resort came under new management with a sprawling lakeside property, multiple revenue centers and very little room for a slow marketing ramp-up. Roble built demand around the whole resort experience.
A resort has a lot more to sell than a room.
The marketing challenge at Honey Creek was scale. Guests could stay in lodge rooms or cabins, spend their trip on the water, attend events, dine on property, book weddings, play golf and build an entirely different stay depending on why they came.
Rather than market each piece in isolation, Roble began building one connected digital ecosystem around the property — pairing demand generation with a clearer guest journey and more reasons to discover the resort.
The creative strategy moved beyond generic resort photography and focused on the experiences that make the property worth traveling for — the lake, recreation, seasonal programming and time together.
Building the marketing engine around the property.
Digital guest journey
Reworking accommodations, cabins, events, recreation and conversion paths so guests could move naturally from inspiration to booking.
Demand generation
Search, Performance Max, Meta and streaming campaigns built around the markets and experiences most likely to create qualified demand.
More reasons to visit
Packages, seasonal events, weddings and resort programming helped turn Honey Creek from a lodging decision into a trip decision.
Measurement
Website behavior, campaign conversion value, ADR and demand patterns give the team a clearer view of what is actually moving the resort.
The goal wasn't more marketing. It was getting the whole resort moving.
